RAJ Restaurant was opened in Aug.2004 by the famous Designer and restaurateur CHEN JIEN, it is one of the top Indian restaurants in Beijing. "With RAJ, I want to bring the most traditional dishes from all corners of India for those Indian food lovers like me, in China, maintain the classic Indian recipes and enhance the offering with some signature dishes to reflect the changing food trends in contemporary India"

RAJ the first site used to be located in Mao Er Hutong, but has now moved to No.31 Gulou Xi Dajie, (address in Chinese: 北京西城区鼓楼西大街31号), 100 meter west of the Drum Tower, where is a 200-year old Beijing traditional Court Yard. In this warm and cosy environment you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the Beijing Hutongs from Raj's large rooftop, and the traditional Indian live dance and music.
